Frank A. Bedford, V – President | Builder
Frank has been working for CWI since 1995, starting as a Laborer and working his way up through the company, from Carpenter to Job Supervisor until working in the office under Frank Sr. by 2006. Since that time, Frank has been a part of the estimating and sales team. In 2012, he moved into Frank Sr’s desk and took on running the daily operations of the the company. Frank has a Bachelor of Arts degree from Ohio Wesyan University, where he also minored in Accounting. With his exposure to construction at a young age coupled with his academic and accounting background, he is a well-rounded asset to CWI.
James Cooper – Construction Manager | Builder
James Cooper or “Coop” has been working in the construction field for 38 years. Dating back to high school and his teen years working with poured foundations, moving up through his early 20’s working with a framing contractor, until he found his home working here at CWI in 1976. Coop knew he wanted to be a Builder ever since he aced shop class in high school and took shop drawing while everyone else finished shop class. It is this early passion for building and his wealth of experience that helps CWI on each and every job. Here at CWI Coop has his hand in estimating, sales, production, daily scheduling, and most importantly quality control. Nothing less than perfect is acceptable which is what makes him an intricate part of the CWI Family.
Bunny Bedford – Vice President | Treasurer
Margaret “Bunny” Bedford handles all of the Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable, a job she has been enjoying since the inception of CWI in 1974. Everyone who works with CWI knows that Bunny writes the checks and therefore is the real Boss! Bunny attended business school which has given her the exceptional accounting skills that we enjoy today. Her strong work ethic, organizational skills, bright personality, and easy-going ways are what make her an indispensable part of the CWI Team!
Jessica Young – Marketing Director | Administration
Jess is fairly new to the CWI team starting in 2013. Jess wears many hats, most recently working on Marketing and Web Design for CWI. Jess has a strong business background that’s proven her to be a valuable asset to CWI. After attending Drexel University, she jumped right into Product Development for an International Tour Operator, along with Real Estate Investment and Renovation, all while raising her three young children in Havertown. Jess has a fantastic work ethic and the ability to multi-task around the office to help everyone be a little more productive!
Frank Bedford – Founder
Frank “Sr.” as he’s known here at CWI is the company’s Founder and President prior to and since 1974 when he incorporated CWI. Frank started as a small job “jobber” and moved on to bigger and bigger Projects until he found himself building custom homes and additions up and down the Main Line of Philadelphia. Frank has over four decades of experience which he has and will continue to share with the next generation of CWI. With a Masters in European History from Pennsylvania State University and his wealth of experience in the construction industry, Frank is an integral part of CWI’s foundation and success!
Justin Turkowski – Master Carpenter | Job Supervisor
Justin has been working with CWI since 1995 when he started as an apprentice to Jim Cooper. “Coop” trained him very well as Justin is now a Master Carpenter and Job Supervisor who can do just about anything requested of him. Justin takes great pride in his work with strengths in finish carpentry, fabricating custom built-in cabinetry, highly detailed Kitchen cabinet installations, complex trim work, etc. Originally going to school to be an electrician, CWI realized his potential and provided resources to train him as a carpenter, which he picked up right away. Justin has been an invaluable asset to CWI since ’95 and remains one of the most requested Supers by repeat customers. Justin lives with his wife Suzy, daughter Theresa, and son Justin Jr. in Manayunk where he is continuously perfecting his own home!
Bob Rudzinski – Master Carpenter | Project Manager
Bob came to CWI in 2008 with a background in General Contracting. Bob started as a Mechanic/Carpenter, proving early that he’s a well-rounded asset to CWI. Bob was promoted to Job Supervisor in 2013 and has been a consistent producer for CWI. He has skills in all phases of Construction and has proven he can handle any job, large or small. Bob lives in Phoenixville with his wife Allison and four young boys.
Jose Nunez – Carpenter
Jose joined the CWI Team in 2006 coming in as a Laborer. Jose has spent a lot of time with Joe and Justin which has proven valuable as he can now complete almost any task requested of him. Jose has a gentle demeanor with a strong work ethic, a combination that makes him popular not only with the CWI Team but with Customers and fellow workers alike. Jose resides in Philadelphia with his wife and two boys.
Patrick McEntee – Carpenter
Patrick came to join the CWI Team in 2013 after he graduated from the Pennsylvania College of Technology and spent a couple years working for a smaller General Contractor as well as a smaller Electrical Contractor. Patrick is a very respectful young man with many well-rounded skills in the construction field which makes him a perfect fit for CWI. Working under Coop, Justin, and Joe, Patrick is soaking up all the knowledge available so he can continue to grow as a young Carpenter/Mechanic.
